The 23rd annual Fireworks display will be on July 5th with a rain date of July 6th and the show will be from Mason’s Point in Turkeyfoot Lake. Clear Channel 106.9 FM (sister station of WKDD) will do the simulcast.

Merchandise such as Hats and etc. will be available for sale at both the National City Banks and on the website and will benefit the fireworks.

Our annual golf outing will be June 21, 2008 at Turkeyfoot Golf Links on Rte. 619. The cost will be $110.00 per person and includes lunch and dinner at Dusty’s. After May 31, 2008 the cost will be $135.00 per person. For those wishing to only attend dinner the cost will be $40.00. Please get your reservations in early as this event always sells out. There will be a chance to win a car from Toth Buick/GMC/Pontiac for a Hole-In-One.

The 33rd annual boat parade will be July 5, 2008. This is once again an open theme. The parade will form at Leighton’s Boat House in East Reservoir and start at 1:00 PM. We will again be giving away 3 cash prizes. 1st place - $1,000.00. 2nd place - $500.00., and 3rd place - $250.00. (When time gets closer, registrations will be able to be picked up at Leighton’s East on Portage Lakes Dr.) The parade will end at Portage Lakes State Park Beach.
